changing it up a little

been thinking a lot about what items I want to keep making and what I want to add.  I don't think I'll keep making the ribbon ponytail holders anymore--they aren't as fun as some of the other things that I make and aren't quite as cute!  So those are going to phase out.  I am working on new types of bows for hair clips and really enjoying that!  I'm also looking forward to getting in some more fleece soon so that I can start work on play capes!  Those are really cute and a lot of fun--and it gives a little something for the boys to be able to enjoy too!  On my way to go order some ribbon so that I can replenish the stock!

Giveaways are a lot of work!

Finally was able to hold my 300 fan giveaway on FB today.  It's nice to be able to talk with new people and get lots of new fans--but what a lot of work!  Hours and hours or prep and email--I guess I wasn't expecting it since I was new to the whole thing!  I can't see myself doing it again for a little while, but who knows?  Maybe I'll have a great site that everyone wants to see and I can quit my job and work entirely from home--pardon me daydreaming again!!

Got to finish a Tutu I was working on.  I know everyone seems to make their own lately, but I really enjoy it and am going to keep making them--just because I like doing it!  This is called "Punked-Ladybug".  My 8 mo old daughter inspires most of the things I make.  She was a ladybug for Halloween so I had it in my head since then!

Have a great weekend!

Things I am or will be making

These are a few example of things I am making!  Right now I have house ponchos, toddler scarves, barrettes with ribbon and flowers, barette holders for the wall to hold all you great clips & ponytail holders with ribbon.
The house ponchos are made for toddlers, but I can make them for adults too.  They are wearable blankets with fringed ends.  They are great for wearing around the house, to a cold football game, and great for camping! They are fleece.
The scarves are toddler size--I could never find them for my son so I started making them myself.  There are no stitches for little hands to pick at, and they are not long enough to tie in a big knot and have to worry.  They are fleece.
My clippes are metal clips covered in ribbon.  Some are only patterned ribbon, while others have flowers attached.  The flowers range in size from small to very large!  The larger flowers are great for hair, headbands, attaching to hats (I do this for my daughter all the time--very cute!), and also clipping to bags to add a "little something".
I am open to making custom items when I can.  If there is a pattern, color, or style of something that you would like to see, please let me know!

Brand New!

Hi everyone!  Taking a crack at a new blog to see what I can generate for traffic!  Please bear with me while I learn more about this!  I sell handmade goods on Facebook and Etsy, so please check out my stores!  I am open to custom orders--if I can do it I will--so just ask!  Please feel free to leave comments or suggestions!
Thanks!
